If you have always wanted to learn to scuba dive and gain your Open Water Certification, this subsidy provides financial support toward your training, with places prioritised as follows:

  • 7 spaces for paid SSAANZ members

  • 1 space for community supporters

  • 2 spaces for non-financial members of the military community or their immediate family

This programme is designed to increase access to diving opportunities while ensuring our members and wider military community are supported.

Submissions close at the end of February. Selected candidates will be advised in early March.

You must be a member of the SSAANZ Charity in order to obtain one of the 2 subsidies that are available each year. You choose which Scuba Diving Course you wish to enrol in and let us know of the store and date to where you have booked. We will then send your subsidy directly to your preferred location. If you already have your details please fill out the below form and we will get back to you to confirm your subsidy. We only have 2 subsidies per year and these go fast so please get in quick. (Filling out the form does not grant you a subsidy straight away. We will confirm whether there is one available after we receive your details.)
